Been coming here for years now just never yelped it (sorry I know I know).
Located on the corner across the street from goodwill and walgreens.
Parking is very limited in front or on the side of the building. The next option is metered street parking.
Food: very limited basic choices. It's called steak rave.
We always always get the same thing pretty much lol. Steak noodles, fried noodles with onions spam garlic and topped with you guessed it cut up steak. You could also get it with chicken instead. One time however we got the noodles and it was very garlicky which I didnt mind but others that tried it didnt like the garlic.
Next plate is the basic Steak either M or L medium or large plate. Portions are just right. Medium which is pictured below is enough to satisfy your steak needs. Comes with 2 scoops rice and toss salad. NO Mac salad here!.
Steak over the years been the same. Tender and seasoned just right. However there's different sauces that you could put on your steak and rice if you want. Please ask her what is what she is very friendly and will tell you which is preferred. The only other protein we tried was the chicken which was also good too. Theres pork shrimp and kalbi too. Mix plates with those as well of you want.
For the price and quality I think it's great and will continue coming back. -

I'll be honest, we almost walked out of this place when we saw it. It is located on the corner of Oneawa St and Kihapai St in a liquor store with limited parking. If it wasn't for the high rating on Yelp we would never have eaten here.
We wanted a plate lunch to bring to the beach with us and Steak Rave was one of the highest rated in Kailua. I guess it just wasn't what we were expecting but the food was good.
We ordered two Kalbi rib and garlic shrimp plates and with two drinks it was about $35. Be aware they do not have Mac salad here so your choices are green salad or rice only. The owner was very nice and packed everything up for us with napkins and silverware.
The Kalbi ribs were very flavorful and tender. The garlic shrimp were good but we had much better while we were here. They still had the shell on them and a couple of them were not deveined which we had to do ourselves. There were two large Kalbi ribs and 5 shrimp which were served on top of the rice. Luckily the garlic sauce got all over the rice which was delicious .
Overall the food was good but the shrimp were disappointing. With the limited parking thIs is a solid 3 stars. -

The first time I came here I cracked up laughing because the first thing I saw when I entered the door was the lady scolding a new customer about putting something on the meat before even trying it. He actually tried it in front of her and admitted liking it.
[FOOD] Definitely a fan of the steak. It's nice and tender. Decent size for the price. Also like that it's in a convenience store so I can grab something other than the regular sodas to drink with my food.
[PARKING] This is my only complaint that there is only couple of stalls but well worth the wait. -

I ordered the steak and shrimp. I was impressed with the steak and the flavor. I didn't really have any fatty pieces either. Shrimp was great too. Serving size decent for 1 person. Service and environment aren't flashy or the best. It was difficult to ask questions about the food. Better of a grab and go place.

Possibly the most tender sirloin steak I've ever had... and for only $9, you just can't beat it!!! I've only had the steak plate and the steak and noodles- both are delicious. The steak itself has very simple seasonings, allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the meat. They have sauces available, if you want (I love to add siracha!)
The lady at the counter is super nice as well.
